Tampere Region Festivals is a unique local network for 36 professional cultural events. Since 2009 the society has been developing the vitality, collaboration and consciousness of cultural festivals in the fields of music, theatre, dance, circus, literature, cinema and visual arts. Our aim is to develop a more sustainable and accessible event industry in different ways:
- Developing and coaching festivals to improve their co-operation, expertise, cultural position, economic stability, accessibility and sustainability
- Creating, coordinating and managing projects
- Planning and arranging education for festival professionals, e.g. seminars, workshops
- Marketing and promoting the event industry and festivals for public, municipalities and authorities
- Giving the festivals advice in daily hands-on festival production
- Co-operating with various partners and organisations in the and art and culture scene
