The Tampere Dance Current – Contemporary Dance Festival, held since 1997, brings together the nation’s top talents and offers an excellent view of the current contemporary dance scene. The festival programme consists of outstanding Finnish dance productions, dance short films and street performances. As an extension of the festival programme, the well-received Jälkilöyly (Afterheat) post-show discussions provide the audience with an opportunity to engage in a dialogue with the artists and go further into the performance.
