The Pirkkala Viking Fair takes you on a journey back to the Iron Age. The Event is inspired by the Viking era as well as the archaeological discoveries made in the Tursiannotko area in Pirkkala. The programme of the Viking Fair features workshops, battle shows, traditional crafts, guided tours, expert lectures and ancient music, all suited to the theme of the event. Programme for children is also available. The event workers, volunteers and performers wear period-appropriate clothing, and no modern materials are used in the products sold at the Viking Market.
