MUKAMAS – International Puppet Theatre Festival is an event founded by Teatteri Mukamas in 1999. Since 2000, the festival has been held every two years. In addition to Finnish professional puppet theatres, the event brings to the Tampere stages the genre’s top performers from all over the world. The programme consists of both modern and traditional puppet, object and visual theatre. The event features activities for children and adults alike – for anyone interested, regardless of age.
