The Mänttä Art Festival is one of the most prominent contemporary art exhibitions in Finland. Every summer, it brings the general public and art professionals together in the art town Mänttä-Vilppula. The Mänttä Art Festival has been organised since 1993, and the main venue, Pekilo, is a former feed mill located in the centre of Mänttä. With its 12-metre high ceiling, Pekilo is today a spectacular exhibition venue. Each year, the exhibition is assembled by a new curator, a keen follower of the visual arts field.
